Presidents Cup: The best Team USA photos captured from their victory

Presidents Cup: The best Team USA photos captured from their victory

Team USA dominated the Presidents Cup to defeat the International Team 18.5 to 11.5.

Captain Jim Furyk put together an impressive Sunday singles lineup that handled the pressures of the day well. At times, the Internationals gained the edge, but that momentum did not last long.

Xander Schauffele destroyed Jason Day in the opening match 4 & 3, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

Overall, the Americans went 6-3-3 in singles matches with wins from Schauffele, Russell Henley, Patrick Cantlay, Keegan Bradley, Collin Morikawa and Max Homa.

Eleven of Team USA’s 12 players scored points. Schauffele, Cantlay and Morikawa led the team with four. While this event was much closer on paper, it still felt like the Americans dominated.

Photographers captured some epic moments and incredible outfits from the wives throughout the week. They managed to snag some fantastic instances from both teams, but since the Americans won, they got the spotlight.

Below is a gallery to commemorate an incredible Presidents Cup victory for the Americans.

Best photos from Team USA Presidents Cup celebration

Look at the sheer joy on the guy’s faces. These are the photos that golf fans will use for memes and other instances on social media. For example, Schauffele and his cigar from the 2021 Ryder Cup is one of the most popular, but now fans have a new one of him celebrating to use.

One of my favorite parts about photos is seeing the joy on their faces. They capture a sudden moment in time that these guys will be able to remember forever.

As a team, they came together and won something as one. Also, seeing Furyk spray champagne everywhere was pure art. Homa’s facial expression when Kevin Kisner finally fulfilled their bet was also a favorite of mine.
