Trump and Vance's lies put children at risk as Springfield schools are evacuated

NEW — The Springfield City School District tells ABC News it has evacuated two elementary schools, Perry Woods and Snowhill Elementary. They are now releasing those students to their parents.

Town and city buildings were evacuated in Springfield on Thursday due to a bomb threat that may have been inspired by a Donald Trump lie.page: told a debate about Haitian immigrants eating pets in Springfield, OH.

Now children are being targeted.

There is no difference between the Republicans' stance on school shootings and the lies they spread about immigrants in Springfield. Trump Thursday's comments in Arizona doubled down on these lies, making it appear that innocent immigrants and elementary school children alike are being put at risk because Trump only cares about himself and this election.

A former president will say or do anything, including putting other people at risk, if he believes it will improve his prospects of returning to the White House.
