In a conversation with the pre-election headquarters, President Biden said that he is not leaving, and no one is going to push him out as a candidate.
The President's words are quoted. “Let me say this as plainly as possible and as plain and direct as I can. I am running. I am the candidate of the Democratic Party. No one is pushing me out. I'm not leaving. I'm in this race all the way, and we're going to win, because when Democrats come together, we always win.”
The reality is that if Biden doesn't want to leave, no one can make him leave. President Biden has enough delegates to run. The incumbent largely controls the party's election infrastructure. There is no one who can make Joe Biden go if he doesn't want to.
If the Democrats had rallied around Biden and started riling up those in the media who are trying to oust the Democratic nominee, the way Republicans do when there is even the slightest hint of criticism of Trump, this story would have been dead and gone days ago.
Instead of uniting as a party, some Democrats decided to run to the media to throw gasoline on the fire to push their own agendas and goals.
The reality is that this entire collapse was a complete waste of time. Joe Biden is probably not going anywhere, and he will be their nominee in November.
