Republicans like Rep. Darin LaHood (R-IL) they are already opposing this release proposal. “The proposal to fire him was a bad idea in the fall, and it's an even worse idea now that we need to make conservative victories. Wasting our time with this distraction is doing our country and institution a disservice. I will continue to support @SpeakerJohnson.”
Green's motion to vacate is already an inconvenience that is going nowhere fast. Democrats are not going to support it. Republicans are not going to support it. Democratic party leader Hakeem Jeffries has already announced that the votes of the Democrats are enough to present the release petition.
Democrats will not allow Green to throw the House into chaos.
The term of incumbent Marjorie Taylor Green is over, and if the boos are any indication, the impeachment motion will be defeated very quickly, the chaos will end, and Democrats can turn the House back into a functioning legislature if they win a majority. in November.
