Alina Habba went on Fox News and admitted that a “blue jury” could eventually convict Trump.
Don't miss Sarah Jones' essay on Kristi Noem titled “Predator is the Whale Every Day.”
Habba said on Fox.
My issue is not whether Donald Trump and President Trump have done anything wrong. He didn't. The facts are on our side. The problem we have is when we have politicized judges and blue-collar jurors come in and they're supposed to be impartial, but you have a judge who corrects, reprimands, on the other hand knocks down the lawyer, on the one hand is tougher than the judge other.
It influences the jury and it's not fair. It is not true. Now, if President Trump was given a fair jury, a fair trial like any other person in this country, his name would be on it. It's Trump, no, that's where my concern lies. It's not the facts, the facts are on our side.

There is no red jury or blue jury. That's nonsense. The judge is also not unfair in this case. Judge Merchan was very fair. His ruling did not go very far on the custody order violations, and both sides had points and motions that the judge rejected.
Habba's comments are meant to lay the groundwork for exoneration after Trump's conviction. Trump and his lawyers are preparing to accuse a biased judge and jury, even though the majority of Americans have consistently expressed their belief that Trump has done something wrong or committed crimes.
Trump is going to go with the usual complaint that it's all a huge conspiracy and everyone is out to get him.
Judging by the evidence presented, Trump is going to have a pretty high bar to avoid conviction, so the MAGAs are already trying to overturn the Republican candidate's possible criminal conviction.
