Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, whose wife was implicated in the 2020 Trump conspiracy, minimized the 1/6 rebellion during SCOTUS arguments.
The Supreme Court was hearing arguments over the federal obstruction of justice law used to indict 350 Trump rebels.
Justice Clarence Thomas went a step further and downplayed the rebellion;
At oral argument today, Justice Thomas downplays the gravity of the 1/6 rebellion at the Capitol. Perhaps it's because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a shame that he is sitting on this case. #SCOTUS

Judge Thomas just suggested J6 is legally no different than any other violent attempt to disrupt official proceedings https://t.co/QGuqWA7GZw

Judge Thomas should not be hearing this case. He should recuse himself, as he has an obvious conflict of interest. Justice Thomas's wife, Jeannie, was involved in a plot to overturn the election. Ginny Thomas pressured election officials in states like Arizona to overturn the results.
Every time Clarence Thomas violates basic ethical standards, the crisis of confidence in the Supreme Court grows.
