Elon Musk has no power

Trump's little friend understands that he has no real power. The reason the richest man in the world is angry is because he really thought he was going to run the federal government and that he could threaten and scream like Trump. and get Republicans to get behind his agenda.

All the spending cuts that Elon Musk seems to be spending most of his time on won't happen because Congress still holds the power of the purse and they're not going to cede it to Donald Trump or his pal.

Musk doesn't understand the political world and is just now beginning to grasp the reality that seasoned politicians have taken him and his big checkbook for a ride.

DOGE is not a real thing. It has no power. It's a private advisory committee to the president.

All power still rests with Congress, and House and Senate Republicans are not going to cede it to Elon Musk.
