Hillary Clinton said she thinks Kamala Harris will win, but warned Harris to be wary of Trump's Russian support system in late October.
Clinton said on SiriusXM's “Mornings with Zerlina.”
ZERLINA MAXWELL, presenter. I feel like I've waited too long to exhale, like nine years already. I seem to have been waiting for this moment. As you reflect on your run as the first woman to win the nomination of a major political party, is there anything about that experience in 2016 that you wish you had known beforehand that might have helped Vice President Harris now?
FMR. SEC. HILLARY CLINTON. Well, he and I have talked often during his years as vice president and certainly since he became our running mate. I strongly believe that he should be ready for any October surprise that comes from Trump campaign, from their Russian support system, which has now been repeatedly sounded out by our own government, that they are once again trying to help Trump get elected. But I think, you know, he's much more aware than we are in 2016 of how important it is to know that what's going on in social media, the viral attacks and the claims that Trump and his allies are making, they have to be debunked. . , must be, you know, subverted in some way.
So I think that's my biggest concern in these final weeks of the campaign. He doesn't have Jim Comey, thankfully, waiting in the wings, you know, on his knees. But he has, you know, the combined efforts of the Trump Big Lie machine and the people who support him that he has to be prepared for. And of course now there's the added factor of artificial intelligence and how it can make you sound like things you've never said because it's so much more sophisticated now. So I think that's what he has to be really ready for. And I believe his campaign is.

One big difference between 2016 and 2024 is that the government is more aware of Russia's efforts to interfere in the election to help Trump. That's not to say that the Russians aren't trying, but that the threat is well-known and operational.
Trump's return to the White House may be the only way for Putin to win in Ukraine, which is why the Russian dictator must be desperate to help Trump.
