Steve Bannon will report to prison on Monday after the Supreme Court refused to hear his appeal.

Here is the bad news for Bannon.

Steve Bannon will report to federal prison on Monday to serve a four-month sentence for contempt of Congress after he refused a 6/1 committee petition.

Speaker Mike Johnson and the Republican leadership of the House of Representatives tried to save Bannon with a court-friendly brief in which Republicans argued that Bannon's conviction should be overturned because the 1/6 committee was set up illegally, an argument that was condemned because the set up of the committee was based on was: on previous select committees used to investigate incidents like 9/11.
No amount of short shrift from their friend, Speaker Mike Johnson, could sway the Supreme Court's conservative majority to hear his appeal. Bannon is the epitome of illegal behavior by Trump and his criminal lackeys, and now he's going to do time.
