Lewandowski asks Trump to remind viewers of his comments about Biden taking drugs and having to take a drug test, and all he got from Trump was a few seconds of silence.

Where did Trump go? It certainly didn't sound like there was a sound or technical problem. Lewandowski waited for Trump to say something, and he didn't. Trump must have just pulled a Mitch McConnell and froze talking about how Biden needs drugs to get into the debate.
In the same interview, Trump claimed that he didn't need to prepare for the debate because he had been preparing for the debate all his life, which was just such a lame excuse. It is like a disciple who says: “I don't need to study for the exam because I've been studying all my life.”
Trump is already being warned by Republicans, who are nervous that he is going to blow up on the debate stage, that he shouldn't be.
I think it could be a bigger worry for Republicans if reports of Donald Trump's memory and cognitive issues come up during the debate.
Something seems off with Trump. He seems to struggle with phone interviews where he is asked questions and answers by friendly media.
