Trump and his supporters have crammed their small crowds into small spaces. It's a virtual certainty that Trump supporters will claim that there were thousands and thousands of supporters, but the reality is that events in comparable areas usually draw hundreds, not thousands.
Staten Island is a reliably Republican territory, so if a mob were to come out to the New York area to protest Trump's conviction, it would be there.
Instead of being a show of strength, the Staten Island rally featuring Rudy Giuliani showed Donald Trump's weakness, and his convictions seem to care about his convictions.
