Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to MSNBC's Cathy Toure, who defended Trump's job record, calling her a Trump apologist.
Don't miss Sarah Jones' essay on Kristi Noem titled “Predator is the Whale Every Day.”
Pelosi said. “Donald Trump has the worst job loss rate of any president. So we just have to make sure people know.”
Tur said: “There was a global epidemic.”
Pelosi replied. “He had the worst record of any president. We have had other concerns in our country. If you want to be Donald Trump's apologist, that may be your role, but it's not mine.”
Tur said:
Video.
Nancy Pelosi calls on Kathy Tur for Trump's apology.
Sword, “I don't think anyone can blame me for that.”

One of the most common complaints I hear from MSNBC viewers is that some of them find the network's daytime lineup unwatchable, and the two anchors that viewers complain about the most are Andrea Mitchell and Kathy Turr.
Complaints surrounding Tur have largely centered on how he is perceived by viewers as an apologetic, apologetic, and heavily Republican-minded practitioner of bipartisanship.
So Toure may be surprised to learn that a significant number of MSNBC viewers agree with Pelosi.
The idea that the pandemic was solely responsible for job losses under Trump is a bogus Republican talking point.
Studies have shown that Trump's economic policy has already pushed the economy into recession. The economy was already in recession before COVID-19. Trump was going to have bad jobs without the pandemic. Blaming job losses solely on the pandemic ignores what Trump did to the economy.
Kathy Tur acts as Trump's apologist to some viewers who are sure to cheer Pelosi's comments.
